Samsung Electronics has announced the integration of Coinbase One, Coinbase’s premium subscription service, directly into Samsung Wallet. This partnership, building on an earlier collaboration between the two tech giants, aims to streamline crypto access for millions of Samsung users across the United States, offering seamless deposits, trading, and exclusive perks for Coinbase One subscribers.
The integration, which began rolling out in late July 2025, allows Samsung Wallet users to fund their Coinbase accounts using Samsung Pay as a primary payment method. This means Galaxy device owners can now buy, sell, and manage cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins with just a few taps, all without leaving the familiar interface of their digital wallet app. For Coinbase One members, those enrolled in the exchange’s $29.99 monthly plan, the partnership unlocks enhanced benefits, including zero trading fees on select assets, priority customer support, and boosted staking rewards, directly accessible via Samsung Wallet.
“This is a game-changer for how Americans interact with digital assets. By embedding Coinbase One’s premium features into Samsung Wallet, we’re not just simplifying crypto, we’re making it secure, intuitive, and available to the everyday user on the go.”
said Drew Blackard, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product, earlier this year
A Seamless Bridge Between Mobile Payments and CryptoSamsung Wallet, which merges Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass into a unified platform, already supports a wide array of digital essentials: from credit cards and digital keys to boarding passes and health passes. The addition of Coinbase One elevates it further, positioning the app as a one-stop hub for both traditional finance and blockchain-based assets. Users can link their Coinbase accounts in seconds, leveraging Samsung’s Knox security, a hardware-backed encryption system, for protected transactions.
For Coinbase One subscribers, the integration means instant access to premium tools like advanced market insights and exclusive NFT drops, all optimized for Samsung’s ecosystem. Early adopters report that the deposit process in under a minute, with biometric authentication, ensuring top-tier safety. The feature is currently available to select users in the U.S. and Canada, with full nationwide rollout expected by mid-October.
Coinbase, the U.S.’s leading cryptocurrency exchange with over 100 million verified users, sees this as a pivotal step in mainstreaming crypto.
