Salesforce, a global leader in CRM solutions, has acquired Moonhub, a startup specializing in AI-driven tools for recruitment and hiring, according to a recent report by TechCrunch. The acquisition strengthens Salesforce’s portfolio of AI-enhanced offerings, aligning with its ongoing strategy to integrate advanced artificial intelligence into business operations.
Moonhub, founded in 2022 by former Meta engineer Nancy Xu, developed innovative tools to streamline corporate hiring processes, including candidate sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding. While Moonhub initially stated its entire team would join Salesforce, it later clarified that only select team members would transition as the startup ceases operations.
This move follows Salesforce’s recent acquisitions of Informatica and Convergence.ai, signaling a clear focus on expanding its AI capabilities. The integration of Moonhub’s technology is expected to enhance Salesforce’s HR solutions, enabling businesses to leverage AI for more efficient and data-driven recruitment.
The acquisition reflects a broader trend, as AI adoption in hiring continues to rise, with companies increasingly turning to intelligent tools to optimize talent acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
